 Official box artwork released The official Jumpgate Evolution box artwork has been released by Codemasters. We have added the cover art to the gallery here at the Quasar bar. Codemasters and Netdevil ran an online survey to find what fans liked, and as the options came down to 5, again let the fans discuss the merits of the different designs. The design picked was my favourite, as I feel it showed the nature of the game - action, space battles... and great graphics. "LOTS of space" ;) New Nation LogosCodemasters Online have just updated their website with new and 'improved' logos for the three Jumpgate Evolution playable Nations, the Quantar Paths, Solrain Commonwealth and the Octavian Empire. These slick new designs are the pinnacle of the three Nations and should be used, and worn with great pride. Below are the three new Nation logos.  They have produced quite a lot of controversy in the official forums - with some saying they are far from an improvement, some believing they are not different enough, and others questioning the outer glow - and how that could be used on an actual ship? What do think? Just leave a comment on this news story if you wish. Beta sign-up form improvementsIf you've not already signed up for beta (both open and closed), this news might interest you... Today we’ve put live a new and improved Beta sign-up form to make it easier and quicker for you to get signed up. Amongst other things the new form includes a simplified sign-up to CodeM form that will automatically sign you up to the Open Beta phase as soon as you log in. If you’ve already signed up for Beta but you’re unsure on whether you’ve signed up for the Closed Beta phase of testing (a phase that requires additional fields to be filled in), then please log in to the Beta sign-up form using your CodeM details and make sure all appropriate fields within the "Closed Beta Application details" dropdown box are filled in. If there is already text in any of the fields ,then you’re successfully signed up to the Closed Beta phase of testing – and you can take this opportunity to fill in or update any additional details. If the fields appear blank and you would like the chance to participate in the Closed Beta phase then you can fill them in with your computer specs as applicable (or upload your DxDiag to have it done automatically for you). Jumpgate Evolution Finds Russian PartnerCodemasters Online have today announced a deal with Game Factory Interactive to bring Jumpgate Evolution to Russia. This is great news for the expansion of Jumpgate Evolution into new, uncharted territories, and shows unprecedented demand for the game. A snippet of the full press release can be found below: "Codemasters Online and Game Factory Interactive (GFI), are pleased to announce a licensing deal that will bring the highly anticipated massively multiplayer online space game, JumpgateM to Russia, former USSR countries and the Baltic Region.
